We got to Hollywood Studio in Walt Disney World around 8:45 and as soon as the gates opened we scanned our Magic Bands and we raced for Toy Story which had been having long lineups so we wanted to get there early because there was no Fast Passes available today. It’s great to have a personal guide! Since DD has been to WDW many times before she knew exactly how to get to Toy Story in a hurry and we raced through the crowds in Stealth Mode taking all the shortcuts along the way!
Toy Story is so awesome! When you arrive to line-up there is so much to see starting from the plastic green toy soldiers outside and dangling on the building with the big scrabble board and it is a sign of things to come! Inside there are so many giant sized toys from when we were kids like the Tinker Toys and Etch a Sketch and they were so fun to see!
It was a bit of a rainy day and the storm was even fun because everyone was running left and right to get out of the rain and we were just enjoying the sights and sounds! We went to see the Muppets in 3D which was fun! The Muppets movie had all the characters I remember and the 3D was very good, there was this kid beside me who kept trying to reach out and touch the bubbles it was funny! After our big day we drove to the Outlet Stores near the condo and shopped but didn’t find anything but I stopped for a coffee at the World of Coffee and they were very friendly and talkative as they made my coffee and when I paid I used my credit card and I had a strange feeling about the way the guy took the credit card behind the counter while he talked and took my payment and then 10 days later there was a big charge on my credit card from some Walmart in Kansas and I am wondering if there is a connection? Anyway it was a minor detail on a great day at Hollywood Studios!
