Partridge Island used to be an island but the erosion of its bank turned it into an inlet. To get to Partridge Island, follow directions to the Ottawa House Historic site. There is a dirt road that leads to the foot of Partridge Island but there a a few private properties and they prefer people to park at the Ottawa House parking lot.

A 5-10 minute walk on the rocky beach leads to a 45 minute trail to awesome views of the Bay of Fundy. It is a steep climb but there are benches along the way. It is said that the Mi’kmaq used this trail that was home to their god Glooscap. According to legends, Glooscap was the first human, created out of a lightning bolt in the sand. Feel the past as you discover the roots of Partridge Island.

Thanks! It is actually two images super-imposed but I found that it created the effect of movement and motion and travel through time.
