When you get to Hollywood Studio you can’t help but notice the huge tower that rises over everything else. It looks so Gothic and dark and scary and you can just hear the bats and spiders doing the creepy crawly dance as you approach the building! On the first day we got there we didn’t have a Fast Pass so we had to go in the stand-by line which was pretty cool by itself as you have to slowly crawl along the path towards the hotel and hear the screams from above! The twisting turning line through the wait builds the anticipation as by the time you arrive at the lobby of the hotel you have legs that are shaking like noodles!
The arches and beams as you arrive in the lobby are awesome and when you finally step into the hotel lobby you are really feeling freaked out and scared! The details in the lobby are super cool and fans like us of the Twilight Zone get a great experience because there are so many little details that relate to the old Twilight Zone TV show!
You pass through the introduction guided by a freaky guide and then walk through a steamy industrial setting before you prepare to enter the elevator…the elevator that apparently held some victims before you! Once you get strapped in to the elevator car you pretty much give up all hope and just have to get ready for the crazy ride that is coming!
OMG the ride is crazy! You drop down 13 stories and everyone was screaming in the dark! To have your picture taken as employees of the hotel, you have to go to Epcot’s Journey Into Imagination, right between the shop and the ride’s exit. We love the picture of us and we use it as our iPhone wallpaper now it is so cool! It was worth every penny!
