Amherst Point Migratory Bird Sanctuary – Moss in Sunrays

Amherst Point Migratory Bird Sanctuary – Moss in Sunrays : It was such a beautiful day, it was a warm and sunny spring afternoon and birds were singing happily. On April 10, we saw the usual resident eagle, a lonely surf scoter, Canada Geese, Mallard ducks, some unidentified black, grey and white ducks. We saw what appeared to be a Louisiana heron; he would be out of his usual zone but maybe the BP oil spill would have something to do with it?
